Reheating & Storage Guidelines

Our retail cups are designed for simple, safe reheating right in the cup. Share these instructions with your shoppers for the best experience.

Microwave

Remove the plastic lid and film and place in the microwave, covering loosely. Heat for 4–5 minutes, stirring halfway through. Use caution — the container and contents will be hot.

Stovetop

Soup can also be heated on the stovetop to 165°F. Do not boil. Transfer to a saucepan and heat over medium, stirring occasionally.

Storage Temperature

Store at or below 38°F, but above 28°F to prevent freezing. Keep refrigerated at all times until ready to heat and serve.

Never Freeze

Hale & Hearty soups are designed to be fresh, never frozen. Freezing affects texture, separation, and ingredient integrity.

Important: Soups should never be frozen, as recipes are formulated for fresh handling. Always reheat from a chilled state and use caution when removing the container from the microwave, as both the cup and contents will be very hot.
